The Role:

As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will lead a developing team. You will be dealing with tax compliance and tax regulatory activities for various international clients ranging from private individuals to multinationals and funds. Within the Team, you will be the Tax expert to guide them with the quality delivery of new tax regulatory services. You will be fully aware of global developments in the tax environment and will proactively advise the Management Team of the Division on opportunities and consequences to extend services.

Job description:

  • Inform and guide the central team regarding the provision of AEOI services, including CRS and FATCA Classification, Due Diligence and Reporting;
  • Train staff globally on tax compliance and regulatory matters;
  • Liaise with clients and staff to provide guidance and promote our tax and regulatory capabilities;
  • Seek and develop further service offering opportunities for the team in the tax and regulatory environment.

Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Fiscal Law or Fiscal Economy;
  • More than 6 years of experience in corporate Tax Compliance and Tax regulatory implementations (CRS, FATCA, etc.), preferably in an international corporate environment and/or international tax consultancy firm;
  • Practical and specialised knowledge regarding CRS and FATCA;
  • Up to date knowledge on international tax developments generally;
  • Team leader capabilities and experience in training staff;
  • Fluent in English and with strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Highly organized, able to work well with deadlines, attention for detail and strong numerical and analytical skills;
  • Interest in business development to expand the service line offering to a wide range of client groups;
  • Other characteristics: self-starter, enthusiastic, pro-active, always willing to learn, accurate, ‘get things done’ mentality, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile.
