Job description:
- Develop new commercial banking relationships with a focus on Luxembourg based FI's and Corporate fitting within China based teams catching area
- Assist China based teams handling the portfolio of Clients
- Work with Global CRM team to deepen the relationship with the portfolio of Clients targeting to increasing commercial banking penetration with a strong focus on global market, trade finance, cash management products, syndication, working capital loan and DCM's operations
- Assist Global CRMs to ensure credit proposals are structured and priced properly to protect the bank's interest with acceptable return
- Assist Global CRMs to complete credit proposals and reviews within reasonable turnaround time
- Visits to clients and prospects at acceptable frequencies to update business development of the Clients and regularly formalize and address calls and meetings reports to both China based teams and Global CRMs
- Work with Compliance and Operations to ensure all KYC is done properly for new and existing Clients at both SGBT and SG group levels and escalate timely for management approval for all exceptions
- Identify and report to Global CRMs cross-selling opportunities on all prospects and existing Clients and, in close coordination with Global CRMs, assist the respective CIB product sales to win the mandate from relationship perspective.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting and minimum 5 years working experience in finance and accounting
- English/Mandarin fluent in both speaking and writing, French knowledge is a plus
- Good knowledge of MS Office is a must (mainly Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
- Advanced knowledge of CIB's products
- Basic knowledge of financial institutions as a sector
- CPA or CFA qualification is a plus
- Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Autonomous, quick learner and team player
- Availability for business travels
