Job description: 

  • Perform detailed tax analyses on regulation and system requirements and create proposal for company approach in cooperation with Senior Manager
  • Identify new business / product opportunities resulting from global tax changes – ability to work with the wider business to help drive implementation of these opportunities. Manage and communicate the tax implications of new products, services, or client groups
  • Support other teams including operations, product and sales in understanding and mitigating areas of tax risks across the business
  • Translate tax law / policy/ rule changes into system requirements / business changes as well as production of client and business communications resulting from these changes
  • Participate actively in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products in particular being responsible for the preparation of BRD and the follow up on implementation process. Manage allocated projects independently with the support of the Supervisor/Manager
  • Prepare  tax statements, guidelines and client news letters in coordination with Senior Manager. Engage in industry representative efforts related to the introduction of new or amending tax legislation and associated administrative procedures. Working in sub-working groups of ALFI. Performing tax training. Design and maintain tax components of certain products and system changes related to the growing investment fund business
  • Prepare  tax procedures on company level and follow up on their compliance
  • Ensure the effective and accurate delivery of KPI, KQI, Newsletter and other relevant metrics documentation to the Management

 Your profile:

  • Master degree and minimum 8 years experience in the Luxembourg and international Fund Tax area
  • Strong knowledge of the European and international Investment Fund regulation / Strong knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulation
  • Have a very good understanding of funds operational services and MS Offices
  • Ability to lead initiatives, take ownership and manage cross-functional relationships / Ability to prepare and perform presentations and trainings
  • Ability to work on projects and translate the modification off the law into existing RBC process
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Able to handle important workload - demonstrate high level of accuracy and work productivity
  • Superior interpersonal skills and networking capabilities with clients, industry associations, business leaders, colleagues and staff
  • French and Italian
