Description

Manage the finances of the companies and ensure that all internal controls and financial policies set by the group are applied and adhered to

• Ensure the correct P&L and Balance Sheet position of the entities on a monthly basis

• Work actively with the business controllers; improve the visibility and importance of Finance within the region, ensuring buy-in from all other operational areas

• Ensure that internal and external reporting requirements are met

• Monitor regional spending against approved budget

• Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance within the region

• Ensure an efficient cooperation with the finance function within the Accounting Business Unit

• Set up/closer/merge entities within the region if required by the company and liaise with the lawyers

• Ad hoc projects as required by region or group finance


The Profile:


• University Degree in Accounting or similar

• Ideally qualified accountant (ACCA or similar) 

• 5years + in Finance/Controlling/Accounting

• Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel/Access) 

• Knowledge of Oracle is an asset

• Fluent in English and ideally another European language

• Local GAAP knowledge and IFRS essential 

• Previous experience in audit and tax ideally
