This organisation provides third-party management company services to Luxembourg, UK and Irish domiciled collective investment schemes.

 

The role of the Junior Sales Officer- PERE is to support the Business Development Directors, who are responsible for developing the sales strategy  as the leading UCITS Management Company and AIFM in Luxembourg.

 

This exciting role is to assist with the expansion of our Alternative Investment Fund Management (AIFM) capabilities into the Real Asset classes, notably Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Debt funds.

 

  

KEY ROLE DELIVERABLES 

 

  • Be first point of contact for prospecting clients.

  • Complete Request for Proposals (‘RFP’s) for new business opportunities.

  • Arrange workshops for prospecting clients.

  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure sales collateral is kept up to date.

  • Network management – ensure sales network is actively managed with a scheduled calling and meeting plan.

  • Support with preparation for conference panel sessions to which Directors participate in.

  • Work with new clients to complete KYC (Know Your Client) checks.

  • Project Management – work with the Product department on rolling out new products to sell.

  • Identify new business leads via online research and keeping up to date with market movements.

  • Internal reporting to Management Committee.

  • Develop sales skills in order to progress into senior sales role.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

  • At least 2 years investment fund experience with exposure to Private Equity and/or Real Estate investments.
  • Ability to act in a professional and discreet manner.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proactively seeking to understand and resolve unfamiliar questions and issues.
  • Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and propose ways of improving our service offering.
  • Ability to develop project plans and to deliver projects within strict deadlines.
  • Communication; Negotiation Skills/Team Player: have the ability to build effective relationships with other colleagues in order to accomplish deliverables.
  • A dynamic individual with a willingness to progress a career in business development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, notably Powerpoint, Excel, Word.
  • Highly proficient/Fluent in written/oral English is a prerequisite.
