Job description:

  • Conduct valuations for financial reporting, impairment testing, equity valuations in support of share-based compensation, complex capital structure valuations, intangible and tangible assets valuations, corporate spin-offs and restructurings, purchases and sales of minority equity interests, valuations of financial instruments, post-acquisition purchase price allocation analysis to determine the fair value of goodwill and perform business enterprise valuations to test for goodwill impairment, value private equity interests in debt, preferred equity, common equity, and warrants for fair value reporting purposes
  • Leading role in managing existing client relationships, targeting new clients and preparing marketing materials
  • Delegating, managing and coaching members of the team
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role 


Your Profile:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Professionally qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or currently working towards such a qualification preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in corporate valuation
  • Prior experience in financial risk management is an asset
  • Expert knowledge in financial instruments and complex derivatives is an asset
  • Expert financial modelling skills - advanced VBA Excel skills preferred
  • Proven track record working with multinationals as clients across a broad range of industries
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage large teams and an ability to manage multiple priorities
  • English fluent both written and spoken
  • Fluency in French and/or German is an asset
