Job description:

• Setting key fund strategy, including investment and disposition strategies across various regions and asset types in Europe
• Taking a lead on capital raising activity and investor relations
• Communicate the strategy to key internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with the asset management teams and provide appropriate direction to optimise individual property performance
• Promote innovation and collaboration across portfolio construction and portfolio management
• Set and lead the implementation of the capital management strategy, including capital raising initiatives
• Developing and implementing an acquisition and asset management plan for each investment that defines basic business strategy, operating plan, financial alternatives, exit strategy, and projected returns
• Evaluating, selecting, and negotiating contracts with third parties, including operating partners and agents
• Monitoring investment performance to assess potential risks, anticipate and solve problems, and forecast and measure financial and operational results
• Preparing and participating in both internal management reporting and external investor reporting initiatives including semi-annual investment reviews and year-end valuations
• Managing internal and external parties to maximise total return to fund investors
• Executing business plans efficiently, cost-effectively, and promptly
• Planning and executing financing, restructurings/recapitalisation, and investment realisation/exits

Your profile:

• Third level qualification in property/real estate or economics
• Post-graduate qualifications desirable
• +15 years in property funds management
• Track record of successfully managing a significant direct real estate fund
• Experience and understanding of the development process relating to large scale projects
• Deep understanding of direct real estate and capital markets across Europe
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, proven track record with investor engagement
• Strong presence and reputation within the real estate investment community, viewed as an industry leader
