Job description:

  • Be responsible for the leadership, direction and oversight of the fund accounting department 
  • Enhance productivity and efficiency in the department 
  • Promote a cohesive team along with Team Leaders
  • Review and manage team workload, allocation and resources
  • Be responsible for all operational aspects of the accounts production
  • Ensure that client requirements are met consistently and profitably
  • Develop client relationships
  • Organise and attend periodic service review meetings with clients

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Strong experience of working at a management level in a fund administration environment 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices, financial markets, and investment management industry standards
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to take initiatives and make decisions
  • Ability to keep both staff and management informed on all developments
  • High degree of analytical ability
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent professional and client service attitude
