Job description:
- Be responsible for the leadership, direction and oversight of the fund accounting department
- Enhance productivity and efficiency in the department
- Promote a cohesive team along with Team Leaders
- Review and manage team workload, allocation and resources
- Be responsible for all operational aspects of the accounts production
- Ensure that client requirements are met consistently and profitably
- Develop client relationships
- Organise and attend periodic service review meetings with clients
Your profile:
- University degree in accounting, finance or economics
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar position
- Strong experience of working at a management level in a fund administration environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting practices, financial markets, and investment management industry standards
- Fluency in French and English
- Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills
- Ability to take initiatives and make decisions
- Ability to keep both staff and management informed on all developments
- High degree of analytical ability
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent professional and client service attitude
