Job description:
- Prepare books and records for the Luxembourg entities in accordance with Lux GAAP
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reporting package for Finance and Operations team in US and London
- Manage day to day information processing on all settled trade activity
- Manage all internal and external reporting requirements
- Manage year-end tax process and maintain close interaction with tax advisors
- Participate with the transfer into the new accounting system (Geneva)
- Act as a “B” level director for the company
- Document accounting, reporting, tax and legal requirements
- Determine control procedures for accounting and reporting
- Incorporate new entities as needed
- Interact on a daily basis with US and London based Finance and Operations team
- Prepare books and records for UK, US and Cayman entities and assets in accordance with UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS, as applicable
- Assist Boston Finance team with US GAAP audits and reporting, as applicable
- Manage year-end audit process (UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS) and maintain close interaction with auditors during year-end audit, as applicable
- Review Tax Structuring Reports and related Transfer Pricing Reports and coordinate projects/deals for new structures where entities are being incorporated in Luxembourg
- Act as a liaison between Operations team and business partners to ensure accurate data processing and end result effects on reporting process
Your profile:
- Fluent in English
- 5 plus years with Luxembourg based work experience in a rigorous environment, experience both in a Trust Company and Audit would be a plus
- Relevant work experience in fixed income asset classes with familiarity of bank loans, high yield debt and credit derivatives a plus
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines
- Self-starter with initiative
- Detail-oriented professional
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm
- Willingness to decipher complex legal documents
- Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through skills
- VAT experience a plus
